Cesc Fabregas made a successful return to the starting eleven on Thursday night but the Spaniard is set to drop to the bench with Jorginho coming back in after being given a breather in the Europa League.

The 22-year-old England player has recovered from a shin problem and is in line for a call-up while Spain winger Pedro has recovered from a shoulder problem.

'The way he (Sarri) sees football is something that, maybe in the future if I become a coach, I think I'll do something very similar to what he does.

But despite admitting frustration at his lack of opportunities so far, Fabregas said he is loving life under Sarri and wants to extend his stay at Chelsea if the club are happy to keep him.

"It's my second game in this position and I feel really good".

"I have seen him play on three occasions now and if he has done three things right in each game, I would be surprised".

'I'm very open about it.

Fabregas will now be hoping to hold down a regular spot in the first team at Stamford Bridge, despite the increased competition in Chelsea FC's midfield following the arrival of Jorginho in the summer transfer window.

Asked whether he wishes to stay at Stamford Bridge, Fabregas added: "I'd love to stay at the club".

"I feel I still have a lot of football left in me but it is now up to the club". "I have to change five, six, seven players - I don't know at the moment (how many)".

Fabregas, 31, has only featured twice to date this season, once against PAOK in the Europa League and the other time being against Liverpool in last week's Carabao Cup clash.

Sarri reckons Loftus-Cheek, who played at the World Cup, will benefit from intensive training with Chelsea after recent injury issues. "I think now it's better for him to stay to work".
