Tom Brady discusses touchdown pass to Josh Gordon

According to the National Football League wire, New England released the cornerback/punt returner Saturday after he was inactive for Thursday night's 38-24 win over the Indianapolis Colts at Gillette Stadium. Last night, the 41-year old quarterback made a little history in joining Brett Favre and Peyton Manning as the only QB with 500 career touchdown passes.

Brady, a five-time Super Bowl champion and three-time NFL MVP, threw for 341 yards and three touchdowns in the win, which improved New England's record to 3-2 on the young season. That's also exactly the same as the Week 1 game of the 2017/2018 season had on CBS on September 28, 2017.

This might not be a well-known stat, but it tells us just how darn good Mr. Brady has been in New England.

"Things like that - milestones and so forth - there are so many people who contribute", Brady said about the achievement after the game. "So, I just think of all the people that have really worked hard". He needs people to catch them and block and defenses make plays and coaches to coach. Gordon caught two passes for 50 yards and the score.

The Patriots were driving halfway through the 4th quarter after giving up a touchdown to the Colts.

That was Gordon's first touchdown catch since joining the Patriots.
