Alec Baldwin arrested after alleged assault over parking spot

The actor allegedly punched a man in the face after he reportedly pulled in and took Baldwin's parking spot in the West Village.

NYPD sources told NBC New York that Mr. Baldwin was taken into custody after punching a male individual once in the left side of the face.

Police said the men were arguing and pushed each other before Baldwin, 60, got more aggressive.

Baldwin allegedly became very angry and started yelling at police officers after they asked him for identification in order to give him a summons, police said at the time.

Since it's Friday, here's a flashback to when President Trump appeared on Saturday Night Live as himself.

Told by White House reporters on Friday of his arrest, Trump replied, "I wish him luck". The site reported that the alleged victim was taken to a hospital.

A representative for Baldwin did not immediately respond to a message requesting comment.

He is the host of a new weekly ABC talk show, The Alec Balwin Show.

Baldwin, who now hosts the weekly television talk show "The Alec Baldwin Show", in 2012 denied punching a photographer who was trying to take photos of him with his then-fiancee, yoga teacher Hilaria Thomas.

In a subsequent profanity-laden article in New York Magazine, the actor said he was finished with public life and that the Big Apple no longer offered his then baby daughter a "normal" life.

"Everything I hated about LA I'm beginning to crave". L.A.is a place where you live behind a gate, you get in a auto, your interaction with the public is minimal.
