Ariana Grande's Surprise "Thank U, Next" Release Has Fans Asking "Who's Aubrey?"

"And the last thing I'll say, I know some of you are curious about the breakup, but the truth is, it's nobody's business", Pete said.

"What's a Pete Davidson?".

Saturday Night Live poked fun at cast member Pete Davidson and singer Ariana Grande's split in the new episode, despite rumors that plans had been scrapped. Wish I could say, "Thank you" to Malcolm, 'Cause he was an angel, " she sings in the first verse. "Now please go vote on Tuesday, alright?"

The 24-year-old comedian appeared on Weekend Update where he shared a light-hearted joke by saying that he is now living with his mother. The crooner has put her personal life on full display with the unexpected release of her new "Thank U, Next" song.

The opening verse features references to four of her previous boyfriends, including rapper Big Sean, dancer Ricky Alvarez, Pete Davidson, and the late Mac Miller.

Record label sources tell TMZ, the overarching theme of the song - titled "Thank u, next" - is empowerment ... what she's been through in her relationships and other experiences.

She had hinted on social media that she would be releasing new music, staring with this song and then a consequent album.

Turns out. Ariana also took the high road, and did not diss her ex.

The No Tears Left To Cry hitmaker, 25, shot back with a scathing tweet that said: 'For somebody who claims to hate relevancy you sure love clinging to it huh'. Grande and Davidson had a whirlwind romance that included matching tattoos and an engagement.
