Thousand Oaks Mass Shooting: Tamera Mowry's Niece Among Victims

The niece of Tamera Mowry and Adam Housley has been confirmed as one of the victims killed in Wednesday night's shooting at Borderline Bar and Grill in California.

She continued, "Housley said two of Alaina's suite mates jumped through a broken window to escape and are at a hospital with major glass wounds".

They called Alaina Housley "an incredible young woman with so much life ahead of her".

Tamera was able to get in touch with Alana's suitemate, Ashley, on Twitter, who informed The Real host that "a handful of girls went to line dance tonight and they're not all accounted for".

Adam has since taken to Twitter to ask his followers for prayers for his niece, who he described as "a handsome soul". "I'm hoping I'm wrong", he told the newspaper.

"Ashely this is her aunt Tamera Mowry Housley", Tamera replied.

The gunman was identified by authorities as Ian David Long, 28, who shot himself after the massacre. She did not say what college they attend.

Adam told the outlet that his niece's Apple watch and iPhone still showed her location as being on the bar's dance floor.

Alaina's suite-mate, Ashley, posted on social media shortly following the shooting, asking if anyone had details about her missing friend.

Ventura County Sheriff's Sergeant Ron Heuls was one of the first responders and was met by gunfire.

"I mean, you know, I've been on your side the whole time, and to be on this side's not fun", he said, referring to his work as a journalist. "Thank you to Law Enforcement". "Please pray. I am numb", she posted. "A guard didn't let him through, saying it was on lockdown", she tweeted. "We love you!" she wrote on Instagram. "Alaina Housely, we are praying".

Mowry-Housely's twin sister, actress Tia Mowry, also tweeted about the missing student. "We love u! If you know anything of any information please let us know".
