Rita Ora Issues Comment After Lip Synching Flub at Macy's Parade

Entertainers including Diana Ross, John Legend, Martina McBride and the Muppets from "Sesame Street" performed in the frigid cold.

Frigid weather and blustery winds didn't chill the enthusiasm at the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, where spectators bundled up in blankets and sleeping bags and the giant character balloons flew lower than usual.

"Several recording artists experienced technical difficulties that negatively impacted their performance".

The teasing of the parade quickly turned to one performer in particular, as many fans had an issue with Rita Ora's performance, where she was caught lip-syncing to her song "Let You Love Me". "Lmao", one social media user wrote, while another echoed the same sentiment.

"Fun fact. We all have to lip sync on this parade". The singer added his shows are "100% live" and it's just the circumstances of the parade, but hopes everyone "enjoyed it anyway".

She went on to confirm that all of her shows are live, and that she had to lip-sync due to the reasons John stated.

In response, Rita tweeted: "Exactly!"

Rita was grateful for Legend's explanation, writing: "Fun fact @johnlegend thank you for clarifying what I was about to also tweet".

The big question is - why was Ora singled out if everybody lip-synched?

Rita then retweeted the comment and captioned her tweet, "It's annoying for us but anyway!" "These are some of the themes reflected in our musical comedy and we are very proud to be the very first LGBTQ kiss on the Thanksgiving Day Parade". "If you think it damages a child to show public affection; you are the one who needs help".
