Hugh Jackman announces world tour

The multi-talented entertainer announced his "The Man".

Jackman previously played a one-man show on Broadway and in LA, raising money for the Motion Picture and Television Fund back in 2013.

The actor and singer will kick off the North American leg of the tour on June 18 in Houston.

On stage, he will be accompanied by a full orchestra who will help him guide the audience through songs from his musical films as well as show tune classics. The Show., the tour will see Jackman performing well-loved tunes from The Greatest Showman and Les Miserables as well as Broadway classics.

The Greatest Showman had particular success in the United Kingdom, with the showtrack spending nearly a full year in the album chart. He will pay two shows at The O2 Arena in London.

Jackman has maintained a stage presence over the years and starred as Peter Allen in the award-winning "Boy From Oz". Sales for the soundtrack to the film have broken records the world over and reached multi-platinum status in many countries including the United Kingdom and America.

Elsewhere, aside from Dublin, there's going to be performances in Amsterdam, Paris, Manchester and London.

Tickets go on sale next Friday, Dec. 7, at 10 a.m.
