Kismet Creek Farm, a sanctuary that operates as a shelter for farm animals, took to its Facebook page to say it had been flooded with attention after the story of Knickers went global this week.

Farmer Fitim Sejfijaj revealed he owns a 3ft tall chicken named Merakli who lives alongside two hens on his farm in Kosovo.

"He was just simply too big to process", owner Geoff Pearson told As It Happens on Wednesday.

Shoenrock told the news outlet: "We were kind of blown away".

At 6-foot-4, the cow, named Knickers, is nearly as tall as basketball legend Michael Jordan, who stood at 6-foot-6.

Not alone: While Knickers' size is quite impressive, he's not the largest steer in the world.

"He's just happy here with his friends", Schoenrock said.

"When I first saw him, I was giddy", Schoenrock added.

According to his owners, Dozer is a "gentle giant" and enjoys a little scratch behind the ear.

There have been a couple other cows around the world that meet Knickers impressive size, but even if he's not the only giant cow, he's still impressive! "He was always a standout steer from the others, a bit bigger than the rest", Pearson was quoted as saying by the BBC. We kept him on because we thought he had potential to be a big steer but never imagined he'd grow to be this huge.

After moving him around several farms, Dozer eventually settled at Kismet Creek and have been there ever since.

"You start scratching him and he'll just push into you just to get more scratches, and he loves it", he said. If he wants to go for a walk, they follow, if he wants to sit down, they wait around for him to get up. "But he's very placid, not aggressive, just inquisitive".
