Manchester United midfielder Jesse Lingard has hailed the influence of caretaker manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, on in-form Paul Pogba.

"It's work rate, it's unsafe in the box, he wins headers, he wins tackles and there is no showboating".

"He knows what kind of a player I am".

Pogba has been making headlines on the pitch of late, as the World Cup victor has scored four goals and provided three assists since Ole Gunnar Solskjaer took over.

Watford and Bournemouth scored six goals between them in a 26-minute span in the first half as the two mid-table teams played out a 3-3 draw.

"And all of them, they have really, really performed up to the top standards".

He was also inches away from completing a hat-trick when Asmir Begovic tipped his shot on to a post.

Neville believes the goal was a sign of greater things to come from Marcus who was at times accused to have not been developing as quickly as he should have. "In the last matches, we were in full control but it´s not easy in this moment to score the first goal".

"We are talking about one of the biggest clubs in the world in terms of everything, the players they have, the names they have". And he's the catalyst. I am not going to think about that.

Ivorian center half, Eric Bailly, was shown a straight red card vs Bournemouth, so, he is out and in his place, Jones could return to partner Lindelof in the central defense.

Lingard added that he's impressed to far with the management skills of the former United striker, Solskjaer. "It's a rash tackle".

Free-flowing, attacking football with Solskjaer's side bagging 14 goals.

"We have conversations every day talking about his strengths, what he can improve on and how I want him to play".

He said: "We have to be disappointed with the way we lost. He's got a great strike from outside the box and inside the box we'll just keep on working on being cool and calm and pass it past the keeper". So a very bad mix when you come to Old Trafford.

"You'd be happy with four wins from four - and finally we kept a clean sheet too", said a delighted Solskjaer, who reiterated his desire to turn his temporary appointment into a full-time job.

Solskjaer must be credited with shoring up United's defence during his short reign, not to mention getting the best out of the likes of Marcus Rashford and Paul Pogba.
