Ravens Fans Brawl As Baltimore Gets Eliminated from the Playoffs

While some National Football League observers and more than a few fans inside M&T Bank Stadium on Sunday were calling for veteran Joe Flacco to play and Lamar Jackson to be benched, Baltimore Ravens coach John Harbaugh was steadfast, staying with the rookie quarterback. But he failed to get an interception in 16 games - the first time that has happened in his career - and his three pass breakups were a career low.

Los Angeles came up with an interesting scheme to slow Baltimore. The back end includes versatile, stud first-round All-Pro rookie safety Derwin James, All-Pro defensive back Desmond King and veteran cornerback Casey Hayward.

The rest of the Chargers offense includes a pair of potent receivers in Keenan Allen (97 receptions for 1,196 yards and 6 TDs) and Mike Williams, who averaged 15.4 yards a catch during the regular season with a team-best 10 touchdown catches.

Los Angeles Chargers star running back Melvin Gordon shared the video he secretly recorded while the driver was praising the Baltimore Ravens and ripping on the Chargers.

Smiling at the camera, Gordon then asked the driver his thoughts on the Chargers' ability to move the ball on the ground. "And we thought putting the speed guys in there, we didn't know that was going to work, but we wanted to take a look at it". And we feel like today, it worked fine.

The Chargers advance to the divisional round for the first time since the 2013 season.

But Jackson played so well that Harbaugh stuck with him even after Flacco was healthy and able to return to practice. Rivers played with a torn ACL that game.

The Chargers last faced the Patriots in the 2017 season, losing in Foxborough, 21-13.

"I'm not playing Tom, by any means", Rivers said.
