Blues boss Maurizio Sarri is keen to reunite with the Argentina worldwide, who scoring 37 times in the 2015-16 season for him at Napol.

Premier League giants Chelsea are reportedly close to sealing a move for Argentine striker Gonzalo Higuain this month.

If the Blues sign Higuain or Wilson, then current forward Alvaro Morata is expected to move back to Spain with Sevilla heavily interested in signing him.

Meanwhile, SunSport quoting Marca reports that the former Real Madrid forward has agreed terms with west London club, adding that his move could be finalised today.

The Argentine frontman bagged a stunning 36 Serie A goals from 35 appearances under Sarri's tutelage in the 2015/16 campaign.

As well as Higuain, Chelsea are believed to be keeping tabs on Bournemouth's Callum Wilson, who was a reported £50 million price tag.

Sarri's preference is to be reunited with Higuain - who enjoyed his most prolific ever season under the Italian - though any deal is complicated by the forward now being on loan at AC Milan from Juventus.

And Leonardo says Higuain has to make up his mind about whether he wants to continue his career at San Siro or go elsewhere.

"There's no point following rumours and gossip". Seeing as he is here, he needs to knuckle down and actually do something for this team.

Chelsea head coach Maurizio Sarri's first-choice preference to add firepower to his squad is thought to be Juventus striker Gonzalo Higuain, who is now on loan at AC Milan. He's only netted six goals in the league as he struggles for form.
