Gary Neville has praised Ole Gunnar Solskjaer for changing the profile of player in the Manchester United team.

Solskjaer said via Manchester United's Official Website: "Of course, the attitude is brilliant".

United are seeking to appoint a permanent manager at the end of the season, and Pochettino is said to be on the shortlist to be Jose Mourinho's successor.

"At the moment I don't think we'll be bringing anybody in, you can never say no in case something happens between now and the window, but with regards to what I think we need at the moment, no I don't think that will be the case".

Rashford scored a superb goal to put his side 2-0 up in the Premier League contest at Old Trafford and caused the Seagulls plenty of other problems as United's flawless start under Solskjaer extended to a seventh game in all competitions.

"I didn't think he fitted the profile of a Manchester United player".

Red-hot Manchester United returns home to face Brighton on Saturday in Matchday 23 in the Premier League.

Pascal Gross pulled one back but Solskjaer was still able to achieve the feat of becoming the first United manager to win his first six league games in charge.

While United are sixth, level on points with fifth-place Arsenal and three behind fourth-placed Chelsea, Brighton are 13th.

"We'll be OK to be able to rotate and there's enough games and playing time". "They're probably pressing higher, and they've got a really good momentum at the moment".

But after seven wins from seven since Mourinho's sacking working under interim boss Solskjaer, Sanchez feels the whole club now has a "better atmosphere".

"I think if you take Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi and tell them you have to play here, you have to do this, you have to that, they aren't going to be the same players".

"I said before we would still have to win a lot of games to stay up".

Smiles have been returned to faces under Solskjaer, though, with a former fan favourite having overseen six successive wins, and there is now just a six-point gap to be bridged in order to secure a return to Europe's most prestigious club competition.
