Captain Marvel: Brie Larson soars higher than ever in Super Bowl spot

Who cares about stinky Tom Brady, Marvel released a few new seconds of Avengers: Endgame footage and if the jaw-clenching, weapon-gripping, steely eyed footage doesn't make your heart skip a beat...you're reading the wrong website.

Marvel Studios has released a Super Bowl spot for their upcoming Captain Marvel featuring Carol Danvers in action.

The first trailer arrived in December and showed off a desolate world following Thanos' triumph in Infinity War which saw half the universe disappear.

In the clip, Captain America, played by Chris Evans, says, "Some people move on, but not us". In one of its closing moments, you can see Captain America tighten the straps on his iconic shield, something that he had given up at the end of Captain America: Civil War. However, the Avengers' secret weapons could be Ant-Man, Captain Marvel (Brie Larson), and a rogue Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner), who were all absent in the previous battle.

We also get to see more of Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) and Starforce commander Mar-Vell (Jude Law). Avengers: Infinity War did most of the heavy lifting crossing $2 billion with its earnings worldwide with Black Panther and Incredibles 2's earnings also playing a vital role.

The first shot from the Super Bowl trailer that the fans have spotted shows Steve Rogers, Natasha Romanoff, Bruce Banner and James Rhodes walking on a field, gazing at something off screen.

Avengers: Endgame comes to theatres on April 26, 2019.
