A Huge Leak May Just Have Sent the White House into Chaos

Overall, since November 7, Trump has spent about 297 hours in Executive Time and 77 hours in scheduled meetings, plus 39 hours having lunch and 51 hours traveling, according to the private calendars Axios obtained.

The View had plenty to chat about on Tuesday, thanks to the news that President Donald Trump devotes about 60 percent of his schedule these days to "executive time".

Though the schedule shows Trump in the Oval Office between 8am and 11am, he is often in the White House residence watching TV, tweeting, reading the news, and making phone calls to various foreign leaders and political allies, sources told Axios.

In all, the contents of the schedules, after being retyped by Axios to help protect their source, took up 95 pages, all of which have been made available to the public.

The daily schedules do not include all of Trump's meetings, in part due to his spontaneous approach to daily life and the presidency. As Axios notes, some pre-planned meetings are listed only on a "more detailed schedule" that is "kept within a very small, tight circle" so as to avoid them being shared publicly.

"He's always calling people", an anonymous aide told Axios, adding, "He's always up to something; it's just not what you would consider typical structure".

The Oval Office is in the West Wing of the White House grounds and separated from the President's residence.

The leaked schedule shows nearly 300 hours of executive time.

White House press secretary Sarah Sanders said in a statement to Axios: "President Trump has a different leadership style than his predecessors and the results speak for themselves". Leaks from within the Trump White House have even become commonplace over the past two years.

Sanders also retweeted a post by Oval Office operations director Madeleine Westerhout on Sunday slamming the leak.

For example, on January 18, Trump only had one hour of scheduled meetings and a whole seven hours of Executive Time.

President Trump has ignited a booming economy with lower taxes and higher wages, established the U.S. as the #1 producer of oil and gas in the world, remade our judiciary, rebuilt our military, and renegotiated better trade deals.

"The distortions of the hate Trump movement are never more obvious than in the reaction to the President's leaked schedule", Trump ally Newt Gingrich said.
