Ariana Grande Ditches The Grammys After Feeling 'Insulted'

According to reports, Ariana made the hard decision not to attend the awards after producers refused to let her perform her new track 7 Rings during the show, leaving her "insulted".

Rumor has it that the singer will no longer perform, or even attend the Grammys at all!

The Grammy's loss of Ariana Grande is almost impossible to replace; her singles "Sweetener", "Thank U, Next", and "7 Rings" have reached a level of critical mass since going entering the streaming World.

However, she pulled out altogether when they said she couldn't choose the second song.

The 25-year-old, who has been nominated for Best Pop Vocal Performance ("God Is a Woman") and Best Pop Vocal Album (Sweetener), was due to perform at the February 10 ceremony in Los Angeles. Reps for the Grammys did not immediately respond to Variety's requests for comment.

The 26-year-old singer has made a decision to pull out of the awards show after she had a disagreement with the producers, a source tells Variety.

The source added that other scheduled performers did not receive the same stipulations.

Meanwhile, Taylor, who is also nominated in the Best Pop Vocal Album category, is also thought to be giving the Grammys a miss.

They wouldn't let her sing a song from her Melodrama album which was nominated for album of the year.

Despite Ariana Grande's face being plastered on billboards and buses all over Los Angeles to promote the Grammys, a report from Variety claimed on Feb. 5 that the pop star is neither attending nor performing at the award show this Sunday, Feb. 10.
