The super faux pas went down Wednesday during the Fox news show "The Five" in which Watters praised King's R. Kelly interview and described the singer as "acting like a child, throwing a tantrum and acting like he was the victim".

The CBS television host has now paid a visit to The Late Show with Stephen Colbert to discuss the trending interview and how she wasn't scared of R. Kelly.

"He thinks in his mind, that we've all conspired together to take him down and the truth is, it just became a domino effect", said Jones, who claims Kelly physically abused her when they dated from 2011 to 2013.

"Hats off to @GayleKing for totally redeeming herself after the [Jussie] Smollett fiasco". Fellow Fox host Dana Perino had to tell Watters that it was ABC reporter Robin Roberts who interviewed Jussie Smollett, not King.

Both women have interviewed newsmakers with King's interview and with Roberts' interview with actor Jussie Smollett before he was arrested on charges of faking a hate crime attack. "I mean, and you're just sorta yukkin" it up at McDonald's.

Watters's co-host Dana Perino corrected him after the false remark, to which he responded, "Oh, I knew that", before apologizing. "Sorry for Robin Roberts out there".

"Could you let the rest of your colleagues know that all black people do not look alike", she said.

The crowd laughed and cheered, while Colbert joked, "It's good to remind them every so often".

"When he started screaming, I immediately turned the TV because again I felt like I was revisiting him yelling at me", McGee said.

On the morning of March 6, CBS This Morning aired clips from their explosive 80-minute interview with R. Kelly. During the interview, Kelly lashed out dramatically at his interviewer, Gayle King, screaming and pounding his fists, as she asked him pointed questions about the sexual abuse allegations he is now facing and those he has faced in the past.

"In the green room, Elton John called me!" "I just kept thinking "Okay, Robert, go ahead" and that's what I said".

"I hope to meet her one day, because I thought that that was very nice of her to do", she added.
