Tim Hortons has finally launched a loyalty program

It's about time Tim Hortons set up its own rewards program, especially in a country where approximately 15 percent of the population visits the restaurant chain every single day. Thankfully the wait is finally over, yes Timmies now has some great perks for their loyal customers. This means that card-holders will be eligible for any sized coffee or tea, or baked good (save for bagels and Timbits) for free on every seventh visit.

What kind of loyalty rewards are there?

The reusable cards can be found today at any Tim Hortons location in Canada. To register a visit, customers must spend 50 cents or more on a purchase made at least 30 minutes after their last visit.

You can go in-store and get a reusable physical card, download the Tim Hortons app, or download Tims Rewards to your digital wallet on iPhone or Android. For a limited time only, new members to the "Tims Rewards" program will receive a reward after registering and making a minimum purchase of $1.50.

In the coming months, similar to what you see on the McDonald's app, Tim hortons will be unveiling new personalized offers and discounts through its app.

If customers download the chain's mobile app, they can also track how close they are to getting a free drink, scan for rewards or make orders from their mobile devices.
