CALL OF DUTY Heads To Mobile Devices This Year

If you have ever played Call Of Duty, you will know that it's far too easy to sink years of your life into trying to ideal throwing a tomahawk at your mate's face from across a map.

You can now pre-register here to be a part of Call of Duty mobile pre-launch betas this year until we get to hear the official announcement of its final release date. Android gamers can also pre-register for the game on the Google Play Store, which will cause your smartphone to alert you as to when a playable version of the game is available, even if it's just a beta. Given the competition, I have to imagine battle royale will pop up. "Call of Duty is synonymous with incredible quality and gameplay, and our team couldn't be happier working together with Activision to bring it to life on mobile". Developer Timi studio, a Tencent company known for games such as Age of Valor and Age of Gunslingers Online, has been tapped for this release.

The first trailer for the game offers an exciting preview of what's to come. What are your thoughts on the free-to-play game?

CoD Mobile is a standalone title with a mix of all the popular maps, weapons, characters from the entire franchise, including CoD: Black Ops and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. It will feature multiplayer gaming modes, including Team Deathmatch, Search and Destroy, and Free-For-All, that will allow players to compete with players worldwide.

As of now, there is no information on when the beta tests will start on iOS and Android, but we do know the game is scheduled to arrive this summer. Activision didn't reveal anything related to single-player content, so we must assume this is a purely PvP game. Similar to the usual Call of Duty game, where users can buy and customize their character and ammunition, the mobile version of the game is also expected to provide the same capabilities for the users.

Along the way, players will earn and unlock classic Call of Duty characters, weapons, scorestreaks, and other gear.

Unfortunately, you need to be in North or South America, Europe, or one of a collection of other regions to be able to sign up.
