The company may even discuss a monthly videogames subscription. But it likely will not feature the New York Times Co. If Apple can simplify that process, it's going to have a winning strategy on its hands and will have created a streaming service worth paying for.

Apple's three big hardware markets - smartphones, PCs and tablets - are stagnating. With an expected $9.99 per month, Apple's news subscription is expected to give users unlimited access to major news websites that offer their services for a fee. September sees the main event for iPhone and Watch launches and a final release of iOS, while October marks Macs and iPad announcements. The rumor that Apple will be hosting a spring event is proving to be true. The company has only used the Steve Jobs Theater at its new headquarters twice since it opened two years ago. The platform's original content will also be available to the subscribers. Cable TV companies reached $118 billion in total revenue, a gain of $6.2 billion in 2018. As we are getting closer to the event, Apple video streaming service is looking to be less interesting than previously rumored.

According to us, Hotstar (at less than INR 100 per month) now offers the most value for money for Indian consumers as it offers access to the country's favorite sport, Cricket (IPL and Cricket World Cup), and access to world-famous TV shows such as 24, Big Bang Theory, F.R.I.E.N.D.S, Game of Thrones, Homeland, How I Met Your Mother, Prison Break, Silicon Valley, The Wire, True Detective, Westworld, and many others.

Now, Apple wants to build on this growth with a dedicated Netflix competitor and a way to explore news. It's likely the bundle will only include paid game apps, such as hits like Monument Valley and Minecraft, rather than free-to-play titles.

It's also unclear whether Apple will continue offering - or at least promoting - individual subscriptions.

Amazon does not disclose the number of Prime Video subscribers, but it could be used by the 100 million members in more than a dozen countries. There are documentaries, such as Elephant Queen, and animations, like Wolfwalkers by Oscar-nominated studio Cartoon Saloon, along with a re-imagining of the Amazing Stories from Steven Spielberg, and a drama starring Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon.

Satellite TV brings in the next highest income, followed by streaming services like Netflix, Amazon Prime and Hulu. Apple plans to charge about $10/month. Also, there the possibility of a new credit card, but a new report says that the company still has another subscription service to unveil.

The big news that is a talk around, Apple is all ready and geared up to roll out its news service.

Apple based the service on Texture, an app it acquired a year ago.

After sorting through the rumors and speculation, from original content to what it will cost, this is everything we expect Apple to announce at their big event.
