The mobile game will reimagine the Stranger Things universe in the style of an 80's Saturday morning cartoon. A slide behind Lee read, "Wait, Netflix is making video games?".

On June 12, Netflix's official twitter account for gaming related topics released details about a slew of Stranger Things games coming out soon.

Nike has officially unveiled their Stranger Things collaboration that includes two different set of collections consisting of the Nike Blazer, Cortez, and Tailwind silhouettes, along with matching apparel.

Netflix partnered with video game developer BonusXP and the Henson Company on the project. Inspired by the massive Netflix TV show that took the world by storm back in 2016, this collection is a must cop for fans of the series as well as sneakerheads who just want to buy some retro gear.

The game aims to stay true to the original horror fiction series while adding extra content to the storyline.

Stranger Things 3 will take place in 1985, which has already led to one unbelievable corporate tie-in.

"Our core focus will be to deliver on Stranger Things' rich and intense themes like friendship and supernatural adventure, and translate these into snack-sized entertainment on your mobile device", Next Games CEO Teemu Huuhtanen said in a press release. The third season of the show, on the other hand, will be on Netflix on 4 July 2019, alongside the game based on the new season.

Disney is on track to launch a streaming television service this year, pulling coveted content such as shows starring blockbuster Marvel action heroes in the process.
