Wilfried Zaha refuses to rule out Arsenal transfer

It has been the transfer saga of the summer but the player is still very much a Celtic player at this moment in time.

As reported via the Mirror, Zaha was asked by reporters about the Arsenal rumours before Ivory Coast's match against Mali.

Zaha only signed a new five-year deal with Palace last August, but he has been tipped to leave Selhurst Park on the back of another impressive campaign.

Reports are now linking Arsenal with cheaper moves for Real Madrid's Lucas Vazquez and Barcelona's Malcom, but it's understood that Zaha remains the priority.

Palace were angered by Arsenal's opening offer but would be open to discussing a deal if the north London club return with a higher bid.

According to Yahoo Sport France, via the Express, Arsenal have seen the interest and bid €30m for Saliba after having had a bid of €25m earlier in the window rejected by Saint-Étienne.

The player is linked with a move away from the Spanish giants with big clubs like PSG, Bayern Munich and Inter Milan seeming to be interested in signing the winger.

"The only thing that's on my mind right now is trying to win [AFCON]". 'I don't know anything that's going on behind closed doors.

"I don't think they need someone like Schubert as Leno's number two - why not look at Joe Hart or Jack Butland as a number two?"

One of the key focus points for Arsenal this summer has reportedly been the addition of a winger, with Unai Emery bereft of natural options to play out wide.

Emirates chiefs launched an initial offer of £40million but Palace want at least double that, with Arsenal hopeful of bringing down the asking price by offering players in part exchange.
