Jurgen Klopp's side next face Bradford City on Sunday before going on their United States tour where they will face Borussia Dortmund, Sevilla, Sporting and Napoli.

We want to play the best season we can play, like we wanted to do past year, but we have no idea what that means for what happens to all the other teams - Man United, Chelsea, Tottenham - so it will be a new season and we have to be ready for that.

Brewster won't have too long to wait for another taste of first-team action as he's likely to play a part in Liverpool's trip to Bradford City this Sunday. "We will see. He has to play different positions - the centre, wing is possible I think, but there will be opportunities for him I am sure".

"He played a really good game and I saw other good performances - Harry (Wilson) and Ryan (Kent) in the first half and then in the second half incredibly strong".

"We knew Rhian was a good player before".

"We won it five weeks ago and I had a wonderful summer, the best summer I ever had because people didn't say when they wanted a picture with me, "I'm so sorry for you", which they usually did in the last five years", he added. "Now he is this wonderful player again so it's great to have him and I'm really, really happy about the signing".

His biggest moment came in the Wanda Metropolitano but Jurgen Klopp believes Origi has got back to the physical levels he first displayed during the manager's first season in 2015-16; Origi became Liverpool's first choice striker in that campaign but his progress was unexpectedly halted.

Roberto Firmino and Alisson are on holiday after winning Copa America with Brazil.

Last season Origi earned himself cult-hero status with a stoppage-time derby victor against Everton before scoring twice in the 4-0 Champions League semi-final second leg success over Barcelona and then again in the final victory over Tottenham in Madrid.
