Duchesses Meghan and Catherine attended Wimbledon on Saturday to watch Serena Williams and Simona Halep compete in the women's singles final.

But, despite their strong bond, the 37-year-old sportswoman won't be dishing out any parenting advice to the happy couple any time soon - even though she has 19-month-old daughter Alexis Olympia with husband Alexis Ohanian.

Today, Kate Middleton's younger sister made headlines for her surprise appearance at the Ladies' Singles Final alongside Kate and Meghan Markle.

"Always positive no matter what".

"I know lots of people would like to get pictures of Meghan and I know people get cross when she gets upset because she's a public figure".

Williams, who was defeated by Halep, is a close friend of Meghan and attended the former actress' wedding to Prince Harry previous year. The stylish Duchesses were also joined by Kate's sister, Pippa - the trio sat together as they cheered on Simona Halep and Serena Williams.

After all, this is the second time they have united to attend the Ladies' Singles Final.

Kate and Meghan were recently spotted at separate matches during this year's tournament just days before they attended the Final together.

Fans of the royals blasted Meghan on social media for reportedly banning anyone from taking her photograph at the event.

The royal women had themselves a girls' day.

In a post-match interview, Serena was asked about Meghan's appearance.

Last week, Swiss great Roger Federer revealed he had recently played tennis with Kate's son Prince George during a visit to her parents' home in Bucklebury, Berkshire. However, her outing turned out to be a controversial one.

Despite a strong start in the second set from Williams, the Romanian was able to overcome and won her first grass Grand Slam title.
