Long ago, a giant meteorite fell on the land, and deadly miasma blanketed the world. You play as an adventurer whose job it is to guard and lead a caravan gathering drops of Myrrh, which fuel the crystals. The game is coming out on PS4, Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Android, so having cross-play on all those platforms is insane. Crystals keep the miasma in check, but the crystals' power is not eternal.

We hadn't heard about Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered Edition in a few months, but fret not - it's still on the way. These are the chronicles of fearless young adventurers who journey to protect their home. These are the "CRYSTAL CHRONICLES". Being able to play the Android version with others on a Nintendo Switch is great and we now know why this remastered game took so long and we're pretty grateful. Players on a PS4 can play with their Nintendo Switch friends, and anyone with a powerful-enough smartphone can event jump in on the action!

Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered Edition is an RPG released on GameCube back in 2003. The release date was announced alongside a new trailer for the Tokyo Game Show which is on this week.

· New Character Voiceovers - Playable heroes come to life with brand-new voiceovers as they cast spells and battle ferocious monsters. It's adding new endgame dungeons, new character skins, and new equipment, as well as rerecorded voice work.
