"The world is a better place because of this country living out its moral objective - a world not just more secure, but more prosperous as well", Morrison said of America.

The president and Melania welcomed Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison and his spouse, Jenny, to the White Home on Friday.

Morrison is the second world leader to be hosted for a state dinner during the almost three years of Trump administration.

The dinner on Friday night was hosted outdoors in the iconic Rose Garden decorated with a carpet and circular and rectangular tables for the guests.
