Baby Archie makes rare public appearance in South Africa

Baby Archie attended his first royal engagement in South Africa with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex in adorable striped dungarees.

This week's tour is the couple's second official trip after a successful tour to Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and Tonga past year. In fact, they'll be doing things quite differently from Middleton and William, starting with their itinerary.

Later today Meghan and Harry will embark on separate, solo visits. The Justice Desk is a human rights organization that trains and educates youths, vulnerable locals and governments to defend their human rights in South Africa, Zambia and Zimbabwe.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry hold hands as they arrive to speak to participants of The Justice Desk in Cape Town's township of Nyanga in South Africa on September 23, 2019.

Baby Archie quickly became a trending topic on Twitter, joining his mom who was trending yesterday over pregnancy rumors. The new parents started their first family tour on Monday with their four months old, Archie.

But Prince Harry continued, and on a more hopeful note, he said, "I love this place". "In Malawi he will champion conservation as in Botswana where his activities will also be linked to Sentebale, the charity he founded in Lesotho in 2006 which helps the vulnerable, especially victims of the HIV/AIDS epidemic".

The couple are set to meet famous figures, including Nelson Mandela's widow Graca Machel.

The sweet new images of the happy family come as speculation mounts that Meghan and Harry are gearing up to announce a second pregnancy any day now after the Duchess dropped a clue while on her royal tour of South Africa with Prince Harry.

During the engagement, Jessica Dewhurst, the group's CEO and founder, presented the royal couple with a framed naming certificate explaining the meaning of Archie's South African name.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are on their first overseas tour since the birth of Archie, their first child, who is accompanying them on their visit. Harry was also around 4 months old at the time. But alas, we didn't, so we'll just have to take a cue from Markle and spend the rest of fall trying to mimic this effortless, yet sophisticated look.

The couple held hands at the July premiere of The Lion King.
