Upcoming 24 Hour Pokemon Stream Promises Look at New Locale

Pokemon Sword and SHield will be released on the 15th of November on the Nintendo Switch.

We are a few months away from the release of the new Pokemon Sword & Shield game and The Pokemon Company has now announce a Livestream event for the game that will go on for 24 hours.

The Pokemon Company will broadcast the stream on its official Twitch and YouTube channels at 9 a.m. EDT on Friday, October 4, which will conclude at 9 a.m. on the following day.

The live stream will feature a camera to capture Pokemon Observation in the forest area called Glimwood Tangle. The Pokemon Company's announcement reads. According to the site, "you may notice things that surprise you". The premise for the stream is that Professor Magnolia's assistant, Sonia, wants viewers to help her with her research by viewing the footage.

So, essentially, we'll be observing a clearing in the Glimwood Triangle for the purposes of researching the Pokemon that reside there. Some new Pokemon, perhaps?

The livestream won't be hosted on the official Pokemon Sword and Shield site, but on Twitch.

There's no confirmation at this time, but based on what we know, this could lead to new takes on Weezing, as well as Zigzagoon and Linoone - the only confirmed Galaring formes at this time.
