Coleen accused her fellow WAG's social media account of leaking stories about her to The Sun following an elaborate plan using her own private Instagram account.

Vardy - wife of footballer Jamie Vardy - later denied the allegations and insisted she doesn't speak to the press about Rooney.

But by the looks of things, Coleen was able to put her troubles aside last night as she went for an evening out with friends.

In a previous tweet, Vardy refuted claims made by reality TV star Danielle Lloyd - the wife of footballer Jamie O'Hara - who waded into the row with an appearance on ITV's This Morning.

According to sources close to the two women, Vardy and Rooney are communicating exclusively through lawyers at Rooney's insistence as Vardy works with a team of forensic IT experts to clear her name.

She added in reference to the stories which were published about Coleen: "The stories were just nonsense, they weren't even damaging".

"I sent her a message and asked her: "Have I done something, is there a problem here?"

"I don't know Coleen but I do know Rebekah and what she's going through is what nobody should have to go through so publicly", the former glamour model told the eponymous host, before condemning those who have been threatening Vardy since Rooney shared her investigative findings online.

In a candid interview with The Daily Mail, she said she relates to her rival in "some ways" due to their negative coverage in the press.

Vardy also says she isn't convinced the leak has come from her account.

The wife of England's record goalscorer told her 1.3 million Twitter followers she had worked out Vardy was the culprit after she had posted a series of false stories, some of which made it into The Sun. "It was not an easy phone call".

"I have absolutely no idea who was responsible - I have always liked Coleen on a personal level".

"I have been told that I should die, that my children should die, my unborn child should die". I purchased a extremely darkish energy from her, ' he explained.

'That someone would poach stories about another person via their Instagram'.

"It's a shame cos she probably thought she would never get caught".

"After a long time of trying to figure out who it could be, for various reasons, I had a suspicion". I hope that we can find out what has actually gone on, that's my aim here'.
