This announcement comes less than one month after Apple seeded the first version of the software update to the public, which goes to show just how accustomed Apple fans are to staying up to date.

The company published iOS 13 and iPadOS usage stats via the App Store support page, which is what Apple uses to track iOS usage, reports The Verge. Upgrading your iPhone to a new version of the operating system could also overwrite any gremlins in the code that may have snuck in during the last iOS 13 upgrade.

If your iPhone's battery life has taken a substantial hit since the upgrade to iOS 13, stop reading and head to the Settings app on your handset to update to the latest version of Apple's mobile operating system. Another update, iOS 13.2, is already in beta testing with developers.

For the iPhone models that came out in the last four years, the adoption is even more impressive - 55% with iOS 12 taking second place with 38% share. Talking about iPadOS, the numbers are slightly lower with 33 percent of all iPads running the new OS and 41 percent of the newer iPads are running iPadOS.

iOS 13.1.3 update fixes a long list of minor but important bugs on iPhones.
