EA games are returning to Steam. Federation Internationale de Football Association 20, Battlefield V, and Apex Legends will also follow, in 2020.

But the reality is that many Steam customers aren't looking for another one-stop-shop for all their games.

It has been revealed that Electronic Arts will be bringing their games to Steam once again, as well as the EA Access subscription service, starting from November 15 with the release of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.

EA stopped selling new games through Steam several years ago, instead choosing to run games through their own platform, Origin. Fallen Order, The Sims 4, Apex Legends, and Unravel Two will all grace the platform "in the coming months", EA says, while the EA Access subscription service will also come to Steam next spring.

Additionally, the publisher will be bringing EA Access to Valve's customers as well. Once you link your EA account with your Steam account, you'll then be able to launch the game on the Steam client. You could always get some EA-published titles on Steam, but with very few exceptions, only the ones published before Origin's release. And while major studios like Square Enix, Warner Bros., and Ubisoft have listed some games on Origin in recent years, most of those were also available on Steam, where they presumably sold to a much larger audience of PC players.

These are expected to drop alongside EA Access, which will be available "sometime around spring next year", Blank noted.

Speaking about the move, Valve founder Gabe Newell said: "This is a good day for gamers, we're excited to partner with EA to not only bring their great games and subscription service to Steam, but also to open up our communities to each other in an unprecedented way that will benefit players and developers around the world". You can preorder it on Steam now.
