Once again, Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino will be looking to rotate the squad for this one.

On paper, a meeting with Group B's underdogs tonight appears the flawless tonic for last season's Champions League finalists, particularly given their five-star demolition job on the Serbian outfit two weeks ago.

Last season Red Star claimed a historic scalp in shocking the future Champions League winners Liverpool to win 2-0 in front of a frenzied 51,000-strong crowd in the Serbian capital.

"Still, Tottenham and Liverpool are two different teams from previous year and there is no room for comparison".

Red Star have not been beaten in at home the Champions League - or in its previous iteration - by English opposition in four attempts.

Spurs received abuse last time they played in Belgrade in 2014 and the Group B clash is at the Rajko Mitic Stadium, where Serbia fans were found guilty of racist abuse against Portugal in their game last month.

Betfred have Spurs to keep a second Champions League clean sheet in a row at 13/8.

Lo Celso, who is on loan at Spurs from Spanish side Real Betis, fired the visitors ahead in the 34th after a pinball-styled scramble in Red Star's six-yard box which left both sets of fans momentarily baffled.

But he travelled to Belgrade and Pochettino says he is in good form.

The Serbian side were hammered 5-0 in London a fortnight ago, but they are a different proposition in their own backyard.

"Like I said before that game (in Sofia), hopefully it doesn't happen and we play a football match".

However, Erik Lamela remains out with a thigh injury while Jan Vertonghen is also ruled out of the game due to a hamstring complaint.

With just one point behind second-placed Spurs, Red Star Belgrade need a victory to boost their chances of qualifying to the knockout stage. So far in this year's competition they have been held to a draw by Olympiakos before suffering a humbling 7-2 home defeat to Bayern Munich.
