Ohio State's Chase Young suspension could reach four games, per report

ESPN's Kirk Herbstreit announced that Young is most likely suspended for four games and LeBron was not happy about that.

James took to Twitter Saturday afternoon saying, "The fact Chase Young even had to borrow money from a family member just so his girlfriend could come see him play in one of the biggest games of his life (Rose Bowl) should tell you all you need to know".

The Athletic first reported the reason for Young's loan.

The school is hopeful the suspension will be reduced upon appeal, the result of which Ohio State hopes to know by next week, Herbstreit adds.

Young now leads the FBS with 13.5 sacks and is tied for second with 15.5 tackles for loss. The junior is coming off a contest against Wisconsin in which he tied Ohio State's single-game records for sacks (four) and tackles for loss (five). He needs a half-sack to tie Vernon Gholston's single-season team record set in 2007. Young, who is said to have repaid the loan in April, already is missing Saturday's game against Maryland due to the NCAA violation.

Ohio State's next four opponents are all Big Ten rivals: Maryland, Rutgers, No. 5 Penn State and No. 14 MI. ESPN's Mel Kiper Jr. ranked Young as the No. 1 player available for the 2020 draft on his latest Big Board.
