WWE 2K Facebook Account Hacked In A Big Way

2K Games issued the following statement addressing yesterday's hack on the WWE 2K Facebook page, which included photos of Chris Benoit, AEW, and other offensive material.

Here's a screenshot of 2K's WWE Facebook account as acquired by Eurogamer. Whilst this is hardly the first time anyone's company-led account has been hacked on social media, it is embarrassing for the brand and does cloud 2K20 in yet more negativity. There were even posts referring to the size of one's. well, "member".

Obviously, this is something 2K Games are taking very seriously. Whatever the cause, it's clear that 2K Games really needs to re-evaluate the security measures and passwords for all its social media accounts.

Video game industry employees having their social media accounts hacked is nothing new - only this week we reported about some Federation Internationale de Football Association staff members suffering the same fate - but I've never seen something on this scale before. On a related note, the hacker had also given a shout out the "Chuckling Squad", another hacker who had previously claimed responsibility for hacking into the Jack Dorsey's - the founder of Twitter - own account.
