When the song comes to an end, a graphic flashes on the screen and says: "Happy 98th birthday, Betty!"

The actors reunited on social media on Friday to deliver a sweet birthday message to the Hollywood legend, who turned 98 on Friday.

"Congratulations on your birthday ... from Ryan, who loves you so much more than Sandy", Reynolds replies.

Carl Reiner, who is about two months younger than White, starred in a 2017 documentary featuring her called If You're Not In The Obit, Eat Breakfast.

The privilege is all ours, Betty White.

White is known to have the longest TV career of any entertainer. The series became very popular, making White a star in the instant television and won her some first distinctions: she became the first woman to produce a national television program, the first woman to act in a sitcom and the first producer to hire a director (Betty Tubiville).

A reporter from Parade asked White in 2017 about her secret to longevity, when the icon offered the most Betty White-answer possible.

And she last provided the voice for Bonnie's old toy tiger Bitey White in the 2019 animated film Toy Story 4, which received rave reviews and amassed $966.7million at the global box office.

Ryan Reynolds also didn't pass on the opportunity to wish his "ex-girlfriend" a happy day. "Thank you for all the joy your brought to us over the years!" another wrote. "Accentuate the positive, not the negative".

While Betty became a regular on "The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson", her most memorable role came in 1985, when she joined the cast of "The Golden Girls". I get bored with people who complain about this or that.

In 1952 she began hosting the show by herself, and she co-founded Bandy Productions with George Tibbles and Don Fedderson the same year.

White launched The Betty White Show at age 55, after the cancellation of Mary Tyler Moore in 1977.
