Three ladies aged eight to 12 and a 13-year-old boy died on the scene, whereas two different ladies and a boy have been injured and brought to hospital, the place they have been in a steady situation on Sunday, police mentioned.

Their 10-year-old bother is in serious but stable condition.

The families of four children killed by an alleged drunk driver are asking for prayers and forgiveness, not money.

He allegedly recorded a blood alcohol reading of 0.150 - three times over the limit - and has now been charged with four counts of manslaughter as well as unsafe driving occasioning death, risky driving occasioning grievous bodily harm, negligent driving, drink-driving and other offences. He did not appear in court and was refused bail until his next lawsuit on April 2.

Davidson's case was on Sunday heard at Parramatta Bail Court.

Abdallah siblings Sienna, 8, Angelina, 12, and Antony, 13, died at the scene in Oatlands alongside cousin Veronique Sakr, 11. They both visited the site on Bettington Road on Sunday morning, with Leila extremely distressed.

The fourth victim has been named as 11-year-old Veronique Sakr - a cousin of the other victims.

Mr Joyce described the children's death as a "tragedy we haven't seen for some time".

"All I simply need to say is, please, drivers watch out. I'm numb", Abdallah said. These youngsters were simply strolling innocently, having fun with every others' firm, and this morning I awoke - I've misplaced three youngsters. The seriously injured child was not from the Abdallah family.

It was a humid summer's night in Sydney's north west on Saturday when seven children, all from the same extended family, took a walk to get some ice cream.

NSW Police Assistant Commissioner Michael Corboy told reporters on Sunday the driver was charged after refusing to be interviewed by police but they were speaking with witnesses.

NSW Ambulance Acting Superintendent Andrew McAlpine on Saturday evening said paramedics had arrived to a horrific scene.

"They're obviously very distraught and under these circumstances we can't provide much information to them at this stage so that's hard for them", Acting Assistant Commissioner Jason Joyce said.

In tears, Davidson's father Allan told 9 News that the family had "effectively" lost their son.
