A petition has been launched by fans asking Disney to bring back Johnny Depp to the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise which is on Change.org and has almost 70k signatures.

Fantastic beasts DCEU actor Johnny Depp and Mera were married between 2015 and 2017, but the former couple is now going through an abuse case filed by Heard's lawyers.

Depp said the following about their abusive relationship in the audio clip, by locating Heard's irrational behavior as to why things got out of control. Honestly, I swear to you because I just couldn't take the idea of more physicality, more physical abuse on each other. Because had we continued it, it would have gotten f- bad. Whether it's for an hour, or ten hours, or for a day ... we must.

In a statement to USA TODAY, Heard's lawyer, Roberta Kaplan, did not address the audio recordings and did not deny the allegations of physical violence, but argued that Heard was also a victim of abuse.

- KeepRocking (@truthhurts06) February 3, 2020Amber Heard sliced off Johnny Depp's finger, causing him to contract MRSA 3 times, burned his face with cigarette, shat on his bed, spat on him, withheld his medications and punched him.

Depp, in response, said: "I love you and I want you to be my wife".

Amber Heard stars in Aquaman. "I don't know what the motion of my actual hand was, but you're fine, I did not hurt you, I did not punch you, I was hitting you".

An attorney for Amber Heard didn't deny that Amber Heard struck Depp, but said to Newsweek: "The fact that a woman fights or talks back does not mean that she has not been the subject of repeated domestic violence and abuse". She is also told that she tells Depp that he is a "baby" and "Growing up".

This has all come out as the petition to remove Amber Heard from Aquaman 2 nears 45,000 signatures, so we'll just have to wait and see if Warner Bros. decides to fire the actress amid these new allegations.

The issues began following their marriage, which lasted between Johnny Depp and Amber Heard for two years from 2015 to 2017.

She added, "For Mr Depp, who lived and lives in an echo chamber of his own making, to try to twist this private conversation to suggest either that he didn't abuse Ms Heard or that she somehow "deserved it" is nothing more than the latest misogynistic effort at victim-blaming".

Heard is expected to return in her role as Mera in the film, which she starred alongside Jason Momoa, William Dafoe and Nicole Kidman in the 2018 Aquaman film.

Aquaman 2 is slated for production in 2021 and a release in December 2022.

"They must not ignore the suffering of Heard's victims and must not glamorise a domestic abuser".
