Going by the screenshots, it's not hard to tell that the new dark mode is enabled throughout the app including the splash screen, chats screen, and also in the conversations as well.

Back in January, WhatsApp started rolling out the Dark Mode theme for beta users on Android.

The chat bubbles appear in a dark contrasting color whereas the wallpaper and other settings menu have an all-black background with slightly contrasting menu bars.

Dark Mode for WhatsApp is the community's asking since ages. We're still not convinced that a wider rollout has begun, but, as per MundoInsider, users in Europe report the latest update adds a dark theme.

According to a new report by WABetaInfo, WhatsApp v2.20.30.25 beta update has been released for all Apple TestFlight beta testing programme members.

The new WhatsApp update makes the Dark Mode feature widely available to iOS users. For those who are on the latest iOS version, the theme of the app will be directly tied to the system theme, so if you already have the dark system theme enabled on your phone, WhatsApp should automatically switch to the dark theme. It also supports the official iOS 13 APIs and also respects the Apple guidelines, just like Instagram. On iOS, WhatsApp has a proper dark mode unlike what I see on Android. It is worth noting that wallpapers are dynamic and change the style when the theme is changed.

Apart from Dark theme, WhatsApp iOS beta version 2.20.30.25 also includes a feature that will blur the wallpaper if users select multiple messages to forward or delete. With this, when users access the search bar at the top of the interface, a categorical breakdown will show up with options for filtering the search through photos, GIFs, links, videos, documents and audio. While using the Advanced Search Mode, users can choose to search between Grid and Captions view.

Once after using the WhatsApp new Dark Theme on your iPhone, please do share your thoughts in the comment box. It should actually help you maximize use time in between charges when you use it on OLED handsets like iPhone 11 Pro.
