'Back to the Future' stars Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd reunite

In the Back To The Future movie trilogy (1985 to 1990), high school student Marty McFly went back to the past in a time machine with the help of scientist Doc Emmett Brown. It received three Academy Award nominations, five BAFTA nods, and four Golden Globe nominations.

The photos were shared by Lloyd and Fox on their respective Instagram accounts, and fans quickly filled the comments section, calling the two actors "legends" and sharing quotes from Back to the Future.

If there's a single great testament to Back to the Future as a series and Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd in their performances, it's that somehow, nobody has tried to remake these movies yet.

Fox was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in 1991, at the age of 26. The two actors are still more associated with their Back to the Future roles than anything else they've ever done, which is why it's always fun to see them together even all these years later. Actor, Chris Lloyd, his Back to the Future co-star and good friend has stayed showing his support for his friend's organization over the decades, but I am not sure any of those events would have concluded with pictures as wholesome as these. Back in 2018, they both joined up on the red carpet for a fundraising event for The Michael J Fox Foundation, the Parkinson's charity Fox founded following his own diagnosis.
