Inspiring 2-legged OH dog finalist to be next Cadbury Easter Bunny

Cadbury issued a casting call for all pets, not just bunnies, and now they are down to ten finalists.

Ethan Mandel, associate brand manager for Cadbury, told WLWT: "The Cadbury Clucking Bunny commercial has been a perennial Easter favorite for over 30 years".

This year fans will have the chance to cast their vote to help select the newest and cutest 'spokes-bunny'.

Once all the votes are tallied, Cadbury will announce the victor on March 24.

Not only will the lucky victor star in the iconic Cadbury Clucking Bunny commercial, but they will also receive a $5,000 cash prize. The company will also donate $10,000 to The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) in the winner's name. And Lieutenant Dan hopes to be the 2020 face of that famous mammal.

Lieutenant Dan's owners, who adopted him from a rescue, describe him as having a "joy for life that is infectious and inspiring" and despite being born different, said he hasn't been slowed down one bit.

Lunchbox was a stray that was found by the Oklahoma Humane Society. Along with taking hours of acting classes, the pudgy pussycat is also working on slimming down from 23 pounds to a healthier weight, reports KOKH, while he waits for a forever home and fame.
