"It's never been more important for the next Democratic president - whoever it is - to prioritize an aggressive Green New Deal that overhauls our economy and energy system while stimulating the economy for working people."

Biden found that President Trump's address last night was not the solution.

While he's now trailing Biden by 16 percentage points, Sanders had a decisive win in Wisconsin during the 2016 Democratic primary.

"What he's coming out with, no matter what, is a delegate split, and any time there is a delegate split, that is a win for Biden at this point", Fincher said on Election Night.

Following his poor showing on Super Tuesday 2, Sanders supporters expressed their disappointment but were adamant that he should remain in the race.

Washington was one of six states that voted March 10.

Biden explained the concern over the coronavirus was why his campaign had canceled multiple rallies in the past week and suspended several more. Amy Klobuchar, D-Minn., with 1 percent.

But Biden opened the door in his own speech on Tuesday night.

Sanders' campaign has said it will address plans on a day-to-day basis.

"Poll after poll, including exit polls, shows that a strong majority of the American people support our progressive agenda", he said.

Biden's success also limits the incentive to change course, but that said, it's helpful for him to gain as much support as possible across the party's ideological and demographic spectrum.

But he downplayed those losses while claiming his campaign is winning the "generational debate" and attracting younger voters.

A week after Super Tuesday, Biden racked up major wins in Missouri, Mississippi, and MI.

Some people said they're not confident Sanders can sway undecided and moderate voters. Arizona, Illinois and OH are also voting on Tuesday.

Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) officially won the California primary, over a week after voting ended.

"Needless to say, I strongly disagree with that assertion, but that is what millions of Democrats and independents today believe", he said. It is the first one-on-one debate between the candidates.

Following Biden's remarks, Trump's 2020 campaign released a statement criticizing Biden for past "terrible judgment and incompetence in the face of public health issues". "In my view, he is a racist, a sexist, a homophobe, a xenophobe and a religious bigot, and he must be defeated, and I will do everything in my power to make that happen".

Sanders appeared on the The Tonight Show on Wednesday night and explained why he is staying in the race - at least until next week - despite long odds.
