Hussle slaying involved personal dispute, police chief says

A suspect in Sunday's murder of Los Angeles rapper Nipsey Hussle has been arrested, officials say.

The chief said he was devastated when he learned that Hussle had been killed. He later returned with a handgun and opened fire, Moore said.

Two other people suffered serious injuries and 15 had injuries that were considered non-life threatening.

A fight apparently broke out Monday night at a memorial for Hussle, and a stampede ensued, leaving at least 19 people hurt, including two who were taken to hospitals in critical condition.

During a press conference today, police said they were looking for a white a 2016 White 4 door Chevy Cruze, which was waiting for the late rap star.

"I'm lacking information that a shooting occurred", the chief said.

None of the injured people suffered gunshot wounds, Los Angeles police said.

Media giant TMZ were able to track down the woman through a vehicle fix invoice for the white, 2016 Chevy Cruze from previous year. Hussle falls to the ground and the other two victims run away from the gunman.

Nipsey Hussle, real name Ermias Asghedom, was 33 years old.

Hussle was one of three men shot outside The Marathon clothing store.

It said, "Our goal is to work with the department to help improve communication relationships, and work towards changing the culture and dialogue between LAPD and the inner city".

Hussle was a respected and beloved artist for a decade in hip-hop inner circles, and broke out with his Grammy-nominated major label debut past year. "It will happen when Roc Nation and Nipsey's family come together".
