Apple is set to launch a new version of its operating software, iOS 13, on September 19th - one day before releasing its iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max.

"To address this issue, Facebook will continue to respect your most restrictive settings choice", Facebook says in a blog.

Users can choose to give one-time access to an app or allow it to continuously feed in their location data as needed.

"For the first time, you can share your location to an app just once and then require it to ask you again next time it wants it", Craig Federighi, Apple's senior vice president of software engineering, said when the update was announced.

Facebook has published a blog post in an attempt to forewarn users as to what to expect when Apple's new iOS 13 location data alerts mean for users of its mobile app. On iOS 13, users will see a pop-up notification of apps using their location in the background and how many times they have. According to CNBC, the update is created to give users more control over their privacy sharing settings, a move that seemed to specifically target both Facebook and Google.

IOS 13 is nearly here. The technology is created to transmit data over a large bandwidth of over 500MHz.

"The business nonetheless notes that it might still know users' place through" check-ins, events and information regarding your internet connection". As users become more aware of how their location data is being used - and take more control over what information they're willing to share - marketers will have to be more savvy with their ad targeting measures and find news ways to engage audiences beyond location-based ad filters.
