The Buccaneers have been surprisingly good in terms of run defense this year, but lucky for Hall of Fame quarterback Drew Brees, they are extremely bad when it comes to covering the pass.

Winston completed 30 of 51 passes for 313 yards with two touchdowns and four interceptions in the Buccaneers' 34-17 loss to the Saints on Sunday.

The Bucs can't keep up with the Saints, as Tampa Bay loses at Raymond James Stadium Sunday dropping to 3-7 on the year.

Thomas, who also became the first player with at least 90 receptions in each of his first four National Football League seasons, had eight catches for 114 yards. He now has 94 catches on the season, which is the most of any player through 10 games of any season.

"It's just what we see every day in practice". "You can't win them all until you win one".

"I'm saying just in general, I don't look at statistics and then judge a defense or anyone based just on the statistics", Brees said. "If we want to be as fantastic as I think we can be, you have to be greater in that space". If you know what's going to come, you anticipate the plays and those plays will become easier for you.

Payton seems happy by the resurgence of Williams, who has four interceptions this season, matching his profession giant in 2017, when he was a rookie. Their secondary has been their weakness, however-they're allowing nearly 300 yards through the air per game, so like Winston, Brees will get his chances.

"It's very frustrating. We've got the players". Thomas is the only wide receiver over 1,000 yards this season, with his league-leading 1,027.

Against the Cardinals, Drew Brees has a monster welcome back game. That's a decision Arians appears to regret in hindsight.

"This team, we have a gift habit", said Arians. In both matchups, the Saints were able to do that. By not giving a team more chances is also a key to winning.

The offensive line and running game got back on track after an anemic showing against Atlanta that saw Brees sacked six times.

After the game, Evans talked about the pwnalty.

The Saints beat the Bucs 31-24 in New Orleans in Week 5, holding Evans without a catch.

Even with cornerback Marshon Lattimore injured and unavailable, the New Orleans Saints' defense again demonstrated its ability to stuff the run, make quarterbacks uncomfortable and tip the balance of a game. Teddy Bridgewater had four touchdowns.

After an unexpected loss last week, the Saints look to bounce back.

Buccaneers: OLB Carl Nassib (groin) missed his second straight game, replaced in the starting lineup by Jason Pierre-Paul. "He's wise. He's received really excellent instincts", claimed Payton, who additionally credited the defensive entrance for Winston's inaccurate go, which sailed across the supposed receiver and into Williams' arms. He added he doesn't expect it to be a problem or affect his status for next week.

With the win, the Saints move to 8-2 on the season and continue their stronghold on the NFC South.

Buccaneers: at Atlanta on Sunday.
