John Krasinski Surprises Hamilton Superfan with a Cast Reunion

John Krasinski kept the good vibes going with another episode of his YouTube show "Some Good News", featuring a shout-out to the Patriots, new weatherman Robert De Niro, and a reunited cast of "Hamilton" performing over video chat.

The girl's mum had tweeted: "Seeing Hamilton has been her dream since she saw her first Broadway show past year".

Aubrey's second favourite character, Mary Poppins, aka, Emily Blunt, also made an appearance - and it was magical!

Aubrey's mother, whose Twitter handle is @mabauman, had directed a tweet to Miranda on March 21, telling him about her daughter's canceled trip.

Krasinski offers to pay for her ticket to NY to see the show when all of this is over, and introduces her to Emily Blunt (his wife), since Aubrey and her family watched Mary Poppins Returns (which Blunt stars in) because she couldn't go to Hamilton.

Krasinski then promised to fly Aubrey out to Broadway later in the year so she could go and see the play.

By this point, Aubrey's face is already a picture.

"No matter how dark it gets, there's always good in the world", he says. We can't wait to see what the next episode brings us.

Aubrey can't even speak, she's so excited.

This week he praised a number of companies, sports teams and individuals that were offering up their services to make PPE for front line staff, before sharing other good news stories such as parents relishing home-schooling and those making efforts to feed the homeless and vulnerable in their area.

Miranda replies: "That's incredible".

Since Broadway theaters are closed due to the coronavirus pandemic, Lin-Manuel Miranda and the cast of "Hamilton" turned everyone's home into the room where it happened.

John Krasinski orchestrated the most ideal Zoom surprise for one young fan.
