Wyoming now has second death linked to coronavirus

At least 32 people associated with OR senior care homes have died from the new coronavirus - making up the majority of the state's death toll from the disease, according a state list released Tuesday, April 14.

He said ministry of home affairs will set up a dedicated helpline number for redressal of the complaints and their grievances will be addressed within two hours. "I really want to make sure that we have the data, so we can make these informed decisions", says Chimera.

The care industry has collectively demanded more action from health secretary Matt Hancock, and has called for a daily update on care home deaths, in the same way hospital deaths are announced by the Government.

"Since not all COVID-19 patients are tested, the actual numbers in the Netherlands are higher than the numbers stated here", it said. The latest count shows more than 4,400 deaths.

187 of the deaths occurred in nursing homes. At Oak Hill, 70 residents have tested positive, and the same could be said for 25 staff members.

Outbreaks include one in suburban Richmond, Virginia that has killed 45, one at a veteran's home in Holyoke, Mass., that has killed 40 and another at a home in central in that has claimed 22 lives. At Golden Crest, 80 residents and 30 staff members have tested positive for the virus.

Aggarwal said that a total of 602 hospitals have been earmarked as dedicated coronavirus facilities and they have a capacity of 1,06,719 beds as well as 12,024 ICU beds that have been reserved for such patients in the country. To screen for infections, she said her home asks workers to fill out questionnaires about their symptoms and exposure.

An AP report earlier this month found that infections were continuing to find their way into nursing homes because such screenings didn't catch people who were infected but asymptomatic. 2 On Your Side has heard from a large number of people who work inside these facilities, as well as from people with loved ones inside the homes.

"It's just a whole blackbox of not knowing what's going on, and that's a big problem".
