Eva Mendes Reveals Why She Doesn’t Post Family Pictures

Eva Mendes is explaining to fans why she doesn't post photos of Ryan Gosling and their daughters.

The question came after Eva shared a hilarious picture that Esmeralda had drawn of her on her Instagram page, writing alongside it: "This is me. Sending you lots of love out there". Commenting on her post, one of her fan asked why she never posts about her immediate family.

However, after posting the caption, the Out of Time performer was asked by a follower why she doesn't openly share parts of her family life. Mendes responded, "hi! I have always had a clear boundary when it comes to my man and my kids".

"And since my children are so little and don't understand what posting their image really means, I don't have their consent. And that I will not post their picture till they're old enough to provide me permission".

Eva Mendes is one of the parents who wants to keep their kids out of the spotlight, and she recently explained why on her own Instagram account. The post photo was a picture of Rene Magritte's "The Lovers", which she called "one of my favorite pieces of art from one of my favorite [artists]".

It all began almost a decade ago when Mendes and Gosling first met on the sets of their 2011 film "The Place Beyond the Pines" in NYC and soon sparks began to fly. I have always enjoyed this person and it seems particularly relevant at this time.

As and when their relationship started to gain more attention, the couple suddenly went off the radar, only to return as parents to their first daughter, Esmeralda Amanda, born on July 2014, putting to rest all the hearsay about them breaking up. And because my kids continue to be so modest and do not know what submitting their picture actually implies, I really don't have their approval.

She also revealed on the same post that she hasn't seen the gym in two months nor has written any novels.

Mendes talked a little about parenting on Access Daily back in September 2019: "Oh gosh, it's so fun and attractive and maddening", she said.
