The voters in the Fox News survey have a better opinion of Biden than Trump - Biden's net favorability is +2 points while Trump's is -12 points.

A Morning Consult poll published Wednesday found a small margin between the pair on China, with 40 percent of respondents saying they most trusted Biden to handle Washington-Beijing relations, and 38 percent saying the same of Trump. In January, 55% of voters surveyed believed the economy was in excellent or good shape; now 78% described it as only fair or poor, Fox News found.

The exit polls are a significant swing towards the Democrats over the last three-and-a-half-years.

In terms of loyal supporting blocs, 69 percent of Biden's supporters say they are extremely motivated to vote in November's election.

Trump's campaign said earlier this month it took in $61.7 million in April when combining other committees that included the fundraising arm of the Republican Party.

Biden, the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee, leads Trump 50 to 39 percent in a head-to-head matchup in the US presidential election, the poll showed.

Biden has a 17-point lead among voters older than 65, and a 13-point lead with independents.
