Clark County Public Health confirmed four new COVID-19 cases Wednesday afternoon, as the county continues to level off with new cases after a 32-case spike reported Monday.

One in Seminole County, a male in the 65 and older age group.

"Proper use and wear of face coverings is vital to slow the spread of COVID-19 and to keep the State open for business", said Jim Murren, chair of the Task Force in a news release. That list can be found here.

Statewide, officials reported 59,107 confirmed cases of COVID-19 and a death toll of 5,698 Tuesday, June 9.

Marshall County is in the top seven counties with the highest COVID-19 cases.

The first case was reported in Marshall County on March 23. Marshall County has had five confirmed cases, and Putnam County has had one confirmed case.

Benton County reported two new cases for a total of 190 cases and three deaths.

"We have seen a steady rise since people have been out of their homes and having more activity".

No additional prisoners have died and 13 have tested positive for COVID-19 at the Charles E. Egeler Reception and Guidance Center, bringing its coronavirus totals to six deaths and 294 confirmed cases, MDOC said.

As of Thursday, a total of 233,819 tests have returned negative.
