Rajput played former Indian cricket team captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni in the 2016 film MS Dhoni: The Untold Story.

After the news was confirmed by Mumbai police today, many waded in to pay heartfelt tributes to the star online. They paid their heartfelt tribute to the young soul and mourned the death of the 34-year-old actor.

Sushant, who kicked off his career with a TV series, ventured into Bollywood with his successful film Kai Po Che, based on the book by Chetan Bhagat.
