He was also cast as a pedophile on a "Workaholics" episode in 2011 on Comedy Central.

He finishes by saying, "That being said, I really am truly sorry".

On June 16, a woman on Twitter named Simone Rossi started a thread about D'Elia's role on You when she wrote: "I still can't believe netflix cast chris d'elia as the pedophile in season two of "you" like the literal IRONY".

A female comedian named Emma Arnold tweeted: "When I was a brand new comic, one of Delia's best friends warned me to never send Chris nudes bc [because] he made them into memes and showed to other male comics at shows".

Under the belief she was "not the only one" to be groomed by D'Elia as an underage girl, Rossie said she felt the need to open up.

Another person alleged that D'Elia "tried to fly a girl. from Canada to LA to stay with him and hookup", and then allegedly proceeded to use the 18-year-old's nude photos as "blackmail. when she said she didnt [sic] want to go".

After Rossi's tweets went viral, more women shared their own experiences with D'Elia, or instances they'd been told about by others.

"For the longest time i thought this was just a amusing story to tell at parties when i realized what happened isn't normal and that he was and could still be doing this to younger girls and it's my job to say something, " a user named Simoné wrote in a thread.

A 21-year-old woman told about an instance when D'Elia allegedly direct messaged her to hang out at a bar before attempting to change the venue to his hotel room. A rep for D'Elia did not immediately respond to Fox News' request for comment. Soon after, the "Whitney" performer was a trending topic on Twitter and the social media account @SheRatesDogs began sharing allegations about D'Elia submitted by other accusers.

Basically there are a lot of women coming forward about D'Elia, and presenting compelling evidence of the comedian's misconduct.
